For the past 9 years, Kent has focused his passion and expertise on aged care physiotherapy, dedicating his work to the well-being, safety, and dignity of older adults. He believes that every elderly person deserves tailored care, deep respect, and the opportunity to move and live well – no matter their age.
Where he started
A high achiever since childhood, Kent graduated as Valedictorian of Cabeza Elementary School in the Philippines upon completing his primary school education in 2000. He continued his outstanding academic performance in secondary school, graduating as the first Valedictorian of Ilocos Norte National High School – School for the Arts in the Philippines in 2004. In 2009, he was recognised as the Top 1 Academic Performer of his Bachelor of Physical Therapy class at Mariano Marcos State University in the Philippines.
Committed to lifelong learning and professional development, Kent subsequently completed a Graduate Certificate in Clinical Rehabilitation at Flinders University in Adelaide, South Australia, in 2018, followed by a Certificate in Dementia Rehabilitation at the same institution in 2023.
In 2026, he completed his Master of Science in Leadership in Gerontology and Rehabilitation at the University of Wollongong, New South Wales, Australia, graduating with Distinction. His academic achievements reflect his enduring commitment to excellence, leadership, and advancing rehabilitation and aged care practice.
What he believes
After years of service within large private and not-for-profit aged care organisations, Kent founded his own physiotherapy practice with a clear dream:
To make KR PHYSIO for older adults the standard – delivered with compassion and clinical excellence.
Kent’s philosophy is simple: every visit must bring progress. Even a small step forward - less pain, better movement, improved confidence - can mean the world in an older person’s life. He believes in listening to the body, not pushing through pain, and tailoring every session to what truly matters to the individual.
